The Pure Cashmere Shawl ($25) comes in white, charcoal grey and rose brown, and the Cashmere Shawl in Pink ($42) is its printed version. With the Printed Lightweight Shawl ($50) and the Super Fine Lightweight Shawl Wrap ($260), these are the featherlight weaves, chosen for their lightness: they fold into a bag, give warmth without weight in a cold office, and make a practical cashmere travel wrap. Lightweight cashmere keeps its breathability, and soft cashmere feels comfortable against bare skin across the seasons.
For plain colour at a low price, the Plain Cashmere Stole ($18) comes in pink, green, black and yellow. The 4-ply Cashmere Stole ($25) carries a floral print, the Metallic Print Stole ($35) comes in blue, brown, black and grey, and the Thin Printed Stole ($50) is two-tone. Each is an easy accessory over a casual outfit, a cardigan, or a work blazer.
Five techniques appear across the collection. Kani is woven with small wooden sticks and takes weeks per piece. Ari is needle embroidery, stitching floral, paisley, and geometric patterns onto the cashmere. Jari uses metallic gold or silver thread for festivals and weddings. Jamawar is an all-over woven pattern and our most detailed weave. Plain and printed styles are for daily use. Kani and Jamawar both come from the Kashmir shawl tradition.

A plain stole comes off the loom in a fraction of the time it takes to embroider a shawl edge to edge, which is why our prices run from $18 to $440 for the same Grade A cashmere fibers. Most pieces are listed as pure cashmere. The Base Silk Embroidery Shawl is a cashmere base with silk thread embroidery, and the Needlework Paisley Stole is listed as cashmere and fine wool, so check each product page for the fibre. Unlike a knit sweater, a woven shawl holds its shape well. A blend with wool or merino wool costs less and gives up some of the softness. Every shawl, stole, and scarf here is woven or embroidered by hand at our workshop, where more than 180 artisans have trained and worked since 2011, many of them single mothers and differently abled weavers, on fair and ethical wages. That craftsmanship is why a plain stole is finished quickly while a Kani piece takes weeks. A shawl like this becomes a wardrobe staple for years, and a warm layer from autumn to spring.
