We offer a wide range of handcrafted cashmere and wool products for both men and women, including sweaters, cardigans, shawls, ponchos, cape shawls, stoles, mufflers, blankets, robes, jackets, gloves, leg warmers, caps, and other accessories, all handmade in Nepal by our skilled artisans.
In addition to clothing and accessories, we also have handmade paintings, traditional carpets, and other handmade products available in our store.

Every Yes Helping Hand product is handcrafted using Grade A Himalayan cashmere or premium Himalayan sheep wool, sourced directly from the high-altitude regions of Nepal (27,00m+). Our products are made using traditional techniques, such as hand-spinning, natural dyeing with plant-based dyes, and handloom weaving, passed down through generations. Beyond the craftsmanship, each purchase supports a meaningful social mission: empowering people with disabilities, single mothers, and marginalized communities in Nepal.

Yes, every product is handcrafted by our trained artisans, including specially-abled individuals, single mothers, and marginalized community members, at our workshops in Pokhara, Nepal. The weaving, knitting, spinning, and dyeing processes are all done by hand using traditional methods. Because each piece is made by hand, slight natural variations in texture, colour, or pattern may occur, this is part of the authentic character of every item.

We use two primary natural fibres:

Himalayan Cashmere: sourced from Chyangra (Himalayan) goats in the Mustang, Manang, and Dolpo regions. We offer Ultra-Premium Pashmina, Grade A, and Premium Grade cashmere.

Himalayan Sheep Wool: sourced from shepherds in the high hills and mountain regions of Nepal, ethically sheared during summer. The extreme altitude gives this wool exceptional warmth, durability, and breathability.
All fibres are natural, chemical-free, and processed using traditional methods, including hand-carding, hand-spinning, and natural dyeing.

Yes. Our materials are ethically and responsibly sourced through close partnerships with local herders and farmers in the Himalayan region. Cashmere is seasonally collected during the natural spring molting period, when goats naturally shed their undercoat, without any cutting, pulling, or harm to the animals.
For our wool, we work directly with shepherds who follow traditional and ethical shearing practices during the warmer months. By partnering with these communities, we ensure fair compensation, sustainable sourcing, and responsible practices from raw material to finished product.

Yes. Our traditional hand-processing methods produce a carbon footprint approximately 70% lower than industrial processing. We use zero synthetic chemicals, natural dyes (turmeric, indigo, madder root, walnut hulls, and more), rain-fed grazing, and biodegradable packaging. Sustainability is woven into everything we do, from how we source materials to how we deliver your order.

With proper care, our Himalayan cashmere products can last 10 years or more. Our traditional hand-processing, which takes 14–16 hours per piece compared to the industry average of 4–6 hours, creates stronger, more durable fabric than machine-made alternatives. In fact, quality cashmere becomes softer and more supple with each careful wash.

We offer authentic Grade A Himalayan cashmere at up to 70% less than major luxury brands. This is possible because we source directly from herders and craft every piece in our own workshops, eliminating middlemen and wholesale markups. As a social enterprise rather than a profit-maximising business, we pass those savings on to you while ensuring every artisan and farmer in our supply chain receives a fair wage.

Our products are handcrafted by specially-abled individuals, single mothers, and marginalized community members in Nepal, primarily based in Pokhara. Yes Helping Hand was founded in 2011 specifically to create dignified employment and empowerment opportunities for these communities. Since then, we have trained over 800 individuals, and more than 180 artisans are currently active in our programmes.

Accidental Insurance: Every artisan is covered by accidental insurance of up to NPR 5 Lakh (Five Lakh Rupees), ensuring they and their families are protected in the event of an unforeseen incident.

Free Training: All new artisans receive a comprehensive 6-month skill development programme at no cost to them, covering hand-spinning, weaving, quality control, and finishing techniques.
